Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief, i bought this book for about 3-4 months ago and guess, i just opened it from the wrapper 3 days ago. Start to read from the first page, find it interesting. Usually it takes a very-very long time for me to finish a reading, at my read-speed; 5-10 pages/day and not doing that for everyday. But case is different with this book. I read the book very fast, started to read 3 days ago, and now I’ve had read about 250 pages. Well, i found it interesting, from the story, the plot, fighting scene, and even sens of humor that brought to you, one or two times during one chapter, enough to make you smile or even a little-laugh.
This is the first book from five series of Percy Jackson, and i think i will spend my next month reading budget just for the rest of four books.
Percy Jackson, 12 years old, was an ordinary boy until he was found out that he is the son of the God, everything going to change from that time. Being chased by monsters, fighting with death, having many new friends (and so enemies) , travelling onto the Hell, and still many more adventure of him.
I wont give any further detail review about the book, but if you are a big fan of heroic epic novel, love everything beyond imaginary, and have enough time to read. I guarantee this book is for you. Phew, Rick Riordan the author would have to spare some donation for my free-publication here. :p
